Medical and Awareness Lectures

The Health Education Department organized medical and awareness lectures presented by the doctors of the Medical Center to the university community through the Microsoft Teams program.

  • A lecture entitled (Prediabetes road not to walk in) for the internal medicine consultant, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rashed. The purpose is to raise awareness of the pre-diabetes stage.
  • A lecture entitled (Coronavirus and children) by pediatrician Dr. Zeyad Murshed to reduce anxiety among children and raise awareness of preventive measures
  • A lecture entitled (Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome) by obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Hanan Al-Sheikh, targets the female category of the KFUPM community. The aim was to identify polycystic ovary syndrome and the best ways to deal with it.
  • A lecture entitled (Hypertension a relook) by the internist Dr. Damodar Tolani to change the negative view of high blood pressure and understand the culture of living with it.
  • A lecture entitled Prostate Problems, presented by a consultant in internal medicine at the Medical Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rashed, raises awareness of men's health, especially prostate health problems.
  • A lecture entitled Early Childhood Caries was presented by dentist Dr. Faris Al-Harbi to raise the culture of the importance of preventive examinations for children early.
  • A lecture entitled Management of Epistaxis lecture presented by the ENT specialist, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, to identify the causes of nosebleeds and the best ways to control sudden bleeding.
  • A lecture titled Obesity lecture, presented by Chief Physician Dr. Jamil Qasim, to identify the causes of obesity and the best practices for maintaining a healthy and healthy body.
  • A lecture entitled chemical burns in scientific laboratories presented by the general physician Dr. Sana Al Summary
