The Medical Center was colored pink to launch the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, in October.

In partnership with Saudi Cancer Foundation, the Medical Center ran an information booth to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Many educational brochures, giveaways, and gifts were distributed to all visitors.

In collaboration with the Eastern Region Health Affairs, the (Raytik Wardiyah) campaign was launched on Wednesday October 12th, 2022 at the KFUPM Square.

The event included a booth and awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Shaimaa Abdul Majeed [SAMA1] about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and how this action can help find breast cancer at an early stage, raising the cure rate by 95%. The hosting campaign had many visitors from the University community, including female students and disabled visitors from Noor Almarefa Co. High Training Institute and Integrated Vision Training Company Institute.

The Zawaya Alfan has also participated in the event by presenting pink paintings that reflect optimism, hope, beauty, and comfort. This gallery addresses women of all ages by delivering a message to them (Be strong and beautiful because you can overcome all struggles in life) and empowering women in all aspects.

In collaboration with Al Khobar Health Network, an event was hosted on Thursday, October 15th, 2022, at Female Bldg. (58). The event included a booth and awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Anderah Bukhamseen.
