The signing of the cooperation agreement was between the Medical Center of KFUPM and the General Directorate of Health Affairs in the Eastern Province represented by the Voluntary Ambulance Team of Determination, Emergency and Disasters Department, and Ambulance Transport. It aims to promote a culture of participation and cooperation in voluntary and training services for medical staff to achieve benefit and distinction for both parties and then for the community. Furthermore, helping the youth energies of volunteer medical cadres by providing emergency and support courses in cases of shortage of medical cadres from “doctors and health practitioners” in the medical center and accidents and disasters cases.

In this context, the medical center has received three students from Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences (emergency technician specialization) for training and cooperative work.

The medical staff and the volunteer ambulance team from the Ministry of Health have also participated in the visual screening points of the reception committee for student exams at the university.
